The deliberations, ramblings, ponderings and sometimes humorous accounts of an addicted Digi scrapper and mother.

My Photo
Name: Sue Jones
Location: Australia

I am a mother, a partner, a scrapper, a designer, a taxi driver, a spell checker etc etc and apparently life 'began' for me on my birthday two years ago. *edited to add*: It has been brought to my attention that some people don't understand what I mean by 'Life began for me last year'. It is just a polite way of telling you how old I really am as there is a saying here in Australia that "Life Begins at 40".

Would you believe....

that this is my 100th post on this blog? Yeh, I can't believe it either! lol

Let's go with my 10 random facts again.
1. Today is Miss Six's first day back at school. Yes, I know school went back last week but someone got pretty sick on the last days of the school holidays so she has had the last week off school. She's still not 100% but not coughing as much during the day so she won't disrupt the class.
2. We managed to get away for a few days over the school holidays. We went to Stanthorpe... and it rained for most of the time there. And yes! It was freezing. But we had fun.
3. Mr 18 still lives at home. Don't ask the reasons... I'm not overly happy but there you go.
4. Now that The New Mum has reached a safe time, I can tell you that she is 17 weeks pregnant and due just after Christmas. No! It wasn't planned but they are coping well.
5. Miss Ava (my beautiful little granddaughter) is just so advanced for her age. We now have 4 teeth (two top and two bottom). She is also pulling herself around on the furniture. I give her another 6 weeks before her first steps. Then she'll be into even more. She is 8 months old this week.
6. The MOTH didn't get the other job that he applied for. But he's pleased he didn't. He was told it came down to location. The guy who got it (who is a friend of ours) lives closer. Work seems to be sorting itself out for him lately so he's a lot happier.
7. I have picked up more permanent shifts at work and that is keeping me busy.
8. I'm so far behind on my scrapping. A lot of my shifts lately have been evening shifts so I don't really want to scrap when I get home.
9. I'm also behind on my reading. I have a pile of books on my bedside table awaiting my pleasure.
10. I'm so enjoying my time at SA as a Creative Goddess. Just wish my mojo wouldn't keep escaping on me.

Okay, got some photos to share.
Photo of Miss Six. I've already scrapped this one too lol. Many thanks to the gorgeous Dianne Rigdon for RAKing me with her 'Sweet Liberty' kit which I used in this layout.
We visited no wineries but did find this place called Castle Glen which sold liquers (expensive visit lol). It was a photographers dream in there. Some of my fave photos from the trip.
Told you it was cold... we found this statue in Warwick's main street on our way home.
Okay... it's Monday morning. So starts another week. Have a good week everyone!
